Sacai x Jean Paul Gaultier x VaporWaffle Sesame

With the release of the sacai x Jean Paul Gaultier x Nike VaporWaffle Sesame, a venerated French fashion label is added to a creative partnership that dates back to 2015, and fully took flight with the debut of the LDWaffle in 2019. That shoe’s successor, the VaporWaffle, is updated here with a mid-cut collar and prominent baseball-style stitching. The khaki textile upper is overlaid with suede paneling in beige, green and yellow, and accented with double-layered leather Swooshes in blue and orange. Dual Nike and sacai branding lands on the heel tab and doubled-up tongue tags, while ‘Jean Paul Gaultier’ is stamped on the sockliner. The sneaker is mounted on a double-stacked foam midsole, featuring split heel construction and Nike’s classic waffle tread underfoot.
